Newport Gardens

[Jane, Guinness and Murphy]

We spent a few days in Newport and saw some amazing gardens that I wanted to share....
This first group of photos are taken at Rosecliff which is an incredible old mansion with lots of interesting history.

The rose garden was amazing...

Here's DH "admiring" one of the statues....I made him do it, and he is mortified. I'm not too sure the ladies of the Restoration Society appreciated it too much either.  LOL

WOW! What great pictures.. looked so peaceful! Besides the one with DH, I especially like the "Guinness" sign picture! There's one for 'the Guinness' - now HE'S one "up" on Murph! LOL

DH seems to be getting along well with the ladies :) The garden and view look lovely. Lucky Guinness, he has welcoming sign awaiting him wherever he does, or in this case, doesn't go. I was interested to hear that you found Newport dog friendly. Thanks for sharing>
