Update on Brady our Lab.....

I am sorry to have to post this but we decided this morning that it was time to have him put to rest. It was a very hard decision for us and the vet agreed it ws time.   He wouldn't eat anything this morning when I got up and I tried everything he just stuck his nose up as if to say I tried.  He seemed like he was having  a very hard time trying to breath and he would only drink a few licks of water.  The medicine the doctor seemed to make his condition worse for he got alot of the side affects from it.  He was a Great dog and will be very missed he was one of our spoiled fur kids.  He isn't suffering anymore now so that is a good thing.  He hung on as long as he could.  We are hoping now that Molly doesn't get to depressed, she is the only dog we have right now.  Our other choc. lab passed away last Sept.  I want to thank everyone for their kind thoughts ,suggestions and prayers in trying to help us get him well.  Thank you...

I'm so sorry, Paul and Michele....I was hoping things would turn around for Brady. He was a beautiful chocolate lab, and it is obvious from the pictures that every moment he was lucky enough to have his wonderful family was a blessing for him. May your hearts be comforted by the happy memories he provided you and Molly. I hope my childhood Newfie Sir Lancelot is there to greet him at the Rainbow Bridge.

I am so sorry for your family. We are dealing with this right now also. Our old guy is fading right before our eyes and we are on vacation and not near our vet. We know the end is near and just hope we can get him home again.
