Lucy - Labradoodle 1-1/2 wks to 9 months

Lucy's an F1B Standard Labradoodle with a curly/wooly coat.

 

Here she is with her littermates at 1-1/2 weeks. She's the 2nd from the left.

 

2 weeks old. Her breeder-given name was Tzatziki.

 

3 wks old.

 

6 wks old.

 

7-1/2 weeks old.

 

10 wks old.

 

4 months old.

I wanted to add that Lucy has not yet gone through a coat change. At 9-1/2 months I'm starting to wonder if it will ever come. I've kept her shortish for the summer and I bathe/brush her often, although with her shorter coat there's not a lot to brush (tail, ears and face, mostly). She doesn't shed, but I occasionally find 'dust bunnies' in the perimeter of the room where she sleeps. Her coloring has gotten slightly lighter as she's matured, although not a whole lot lighter. Her coat has definitely gotten curlier though.

She so cute! Tori was a "late bloomer" with her coat change... it really didn't happen until maybe 14 months... Keep brushing!

Nice display. Lucy has the apricot color right along her back. Tucker has the same .....must be from the poodle side 'cause Tucker is a GD.

We call it Lucy's racing stripe! That strip of hair down her back is much curlier than the rest of her coat, too. I think her 1-1/2 week old pic with her littermates shows that really well.
