Meet Beau my foster child.  Thank you Matt for showing me that love is all it takes.............Thank you Marci for getting Kingston. Thank you DRC for your guidance.

This has been one of the most wonderful experiences I've been through, sad but wonderful.  I have this little baby here and someone turned him into a high kill shelter, go figure.

When I decided to do this there were a lot of things going through my mind.......my house is peaceful..........my dogs are great together..........Bear's old and sick.........But once your eyes meet a Doodle in distress there's "no worries" you just grab them and run.............Then you love them and work with them.  I can't say my peaceful house is the same there's more energy with a puppy, they all get along great together, and old Bear is getting younger.

If any of you are "just thinking about fostering" stop thinking and do as I did, experince it just one time.

This is Beau

No matter how long we have a foster in our home they find a spot in our hearts forever. Thank you for helping Beau to have the life he deserves. Isn't fostering an awesome experience?
Update on Beau. He well be going with his forever family next Sat. right before the Malibu Doodle Romp! Gus is really going to miss his little squeaky toy! Hopefully the romp will keep his mind off his loss. This has been so rewarding, he has such a great personality. Beau runs around the house and gathers up all the T-balls, antlers, scraps of paper, my DD socks and piles them on the dog bed. Gus will go over to the bed and Beau looks at him and smiles I can hear Beau say "hey Dood, pick one any one." They play like all Doods do grabbing ears and pawing each other. One thing I'll never forget is the evening I brought Beau home. My dog sitter was here and getting ready to leave Gus was at the door in his sit stay (Gus has never gone out the front door without being told it's O.K.) I told my DS to wait a minute so that I could put Beau in a sit stay. Beau was standing next to Gus I said "sit" Beau just lokked at me, "sit" Gus took his paw and put on Beau's bottom and made him sit! It was so funny. We're going to miss this little guy.
Diedre - parting is sweet sorrow especially when you know they are going to a great home. What a wonderful job you did for Beau. Blessings.
