Have You Ever....

My DH just came in the bedroom while I was playing with Tori.  I was down on the ground crawling around like a dog bending my head down and pushing into her.  She was pawing at my hair  and zooming and hiding back and forth playing chase.   DH of course just shook his head, got what he came in for and walked back out. No words were necessary to know what HE was thinking. (There's not many people that I would even admit that to - LOL)   So it got me wondering.... what do YOU do with your doodle that 'others' may think... "I would never"..... So finish the sentence...Have you ever__________ with (or for) your doodle?

I sing "You're the one that I want" from Grease to him...and we dance. He gets really excited when he hears that song.
But he goes beserk to the "Chicken Dance" (someone sent me a card with that song)
Nothing like a 100 lb doodle doing the Chicken Dance.

Funny! did you guys ever see that dog (a golden - i believe) doing a ballroom salsa type dance on You tube? Oh My Doodle! That dog was amazing... you could clearly see the memory this dog had - not to mention the dance moves. I'm going to try and link it here....

I really need my DH and children (18 and 20 years old) to read the responses to this discussion!! They think I am "over the top" about Knox, but it turns out that I'm just a NORMAL Doodle Owner!! Yay! If we all got committed to a facility somewhere, could we bring our doodles?? That would be so fun!!

Love this post! The responses are all so great! I talk to Banjo all the time....telling him how wonderful he is and how much I love him......yadda...yadda....yadda. One afternoon not too long ago, I was standing outside on the deck looking at Banjo through the screen door....saying..."I love you.....yes, I do.....I love you soooooooo much....oh yes I doooooo....you're just the best in the world....I love you to pieces my little sweetie pie.......".....on and on.....and on......when suddenly my DH says....."I love you too honey" !!! He was sitting in the chair just inside the door....I thought he was out in his garage!
Well, I do love DH....and I do tell him everyday.....but in a more "toned down" manner! I save the SAP for my darlin Dood!
We got a good laugh out of it anyway!
