Perhaps THIS is how my doodle nose obssession started!

My whole life, I have loved Koala Bears. When I was a kid, we had a eucalyptus tree in the backyard and I used to BEG my parents for a Koala (bear in mind this was Tennessee, not Australia so this was never going to happen). My sister forwarded me this amazing photo serious of baby Koalas and for the first time I realized that they have huge, shiny black noses, just like many doodles'! Could be where this all began...

 

Not everyone gets to view this type of baby as Koalas are very private

with their babies.  The mother must have died in the wild and the babies

were saved.  This was quite a feat for the wild life caregivers as the babies

need special milk to survive.  The babies normally attach to a teat inside

the Koala pouch.

I too have always had this fascination with Koala Bears! I remember the story on here last year of the ones that were saved during the wildfires in Australia ...... the photos were amazing!

Koala bears do not do it for me...they're cute, but they are vicious!
For me, it's sea otters. The look much more like doodles than koalas do, IMO. Big noses, and they do the doodle pose all the time!

That's really funny, because I have always thought that otters look like schnauzers! They tend to have an earnest look about them, which I've always associated with miniature schnauzers.
Part of me is aware that Koalas aren't as cuddly as they look. The rest of me is SURE that if I had one, it would be a sweet one!

I bought my nephews the webkinz koalas and we pretend that they are "mine" when I'm visiting them.

Too cute. Both Koalas and Otters are have cute kissable noses, though I would not get close enough to try. I kind of enjoy having a nose. :D

Oh my gosh. Koalas, Kittens, Otters... basically any cute furry animal makes me want one. I had a pet rat when I was younger and let me tell you, he was adorable. :-)
