Koda was chilling/laying quietly next to DH on the floor, when suddenly he went for his own front foot, he clamped down on it.  He sometimes nibbles his paws (like chewing, eating corn on cob), but this is the first time he actually had his mouth around his entire foot.  DH tried to remove the foot from his mouth, but he hung on to it (not all that tight but not letting it go easy).  Eventually DH managed to get it out... What's the deal with that?  Have any one of you seen your doodle done that?  Is this behavioral or medical issue ... DH thinks it could be mild seizure?  He seems back to his normal self after that incident.

Hunter does that, but I just talk to him like a human kid....because to me he is...and tell him to get his foot out of his mouth and he just stops and looks at me and then he'll just lick the bottom of his paw and start doing something else like no big deal. I never attempted to remove his paw because he just stops when I tell him to. I don't know if that helps you at all.
Hi Caron, thanks! It helps to know that Koda is not the only doodle who has such unusual "play" behavior.
