I still prefer EVO over TOTW, which we switched to in September. I hope that time proves that P and G don't change their formula and I will go back!

Thank you Allyson and Karen...for all of the time and effort you have put into doing all of the research...and then compiling this wonderful list...
It's invaluable...not only to newcomers...but to everyone!
I don't know if you are aware of this...but I just found a site that might be helpful to anyone who is having trouble finding some of their favorite brands of food locally...such as Fromm or Orijen...etc..
The site is called PetFlow.com and it looks like they carry every brand of food that you have on the list...treats too.
They have a program called "Free Shipping For Life"...and from what I read...you just have to choose the delivery schedule that fits your needs...and they ship your food automatically...so you never run out! The shipping is "Free" on all orders of $75.00...for life.
It's worth looking into...especially for people who are having difficulty finding a particular brand of food close to where they live.

Sasha is very welcome! Fromm was JD's favorite food before his specialist wanted him on Orijen.
I found the Petflow Site while voting for the DRC on the Animal Rescue Site's Shelter Challenge. It looks like a very good company, since they do donate a portion of the proceeds to the ARS.

I do hope that PetFlow is helpful to everyone who has been having a difficult time finding the food that they want for their Doodles...and...sometimes even have to decide on a second choice...because they can't find it locally.

Karen, I thought it might be smart to note that in the High Prairie formula of Taste of the Wild, there is chicken meal in it. I'm not sure if you consider that "chicken" or not, but for those of us staying away from chicken due to allergies or intolerances, it might be helpful to know which foods contain chicken products.

I hope that everyone will use this list as a guideline and still read their labels before purchasing any food product. There are other proteins in many of these foods that are not listed here. We have tried to list the major protein sources of each food for the purpose of differentiating one form another. Obviously, we can't reproduce every ingredient in every food here, and then monitor every premium food on the market for changes. This list is meant to be a guideline only.
Now, if anyone would like to make the administration of this group a paying position....
