Labradoodle in Modern Dog Magazine

I saw this picture in the Modern dog magazine and thought that someone had stolen a picture of my LD when he was a puppy.  They look so similar!!

I contacted the magazine and they said the dod in their picture is a labradoodle, his name is Farley and the picture was taken summer 2008 (when my LD was a puppy).  They didn't know where he came from though.  They look so similar I wondered if they were related.

 

Does anyone know this doodle??  I would be really interested to know who bred him.

Ooops, I posted this discussion and then went away for the weekend without my laptop! Finally got to log in today and check out your replies. They do really look alike, that is why I wondered where the other one came from. But, then again Hartley and Adriannes Samantha look really alike too and we know they aren't related.... must be something about those chocolate doods!!!
