We have had the same problem with Ellie. She did test positive for higher than normal amounts of Clostridium in her stool earlier this summer and was given antibiotics. Her stool is still super soft, and sometimes runny. We went back to the vet and her stool and blood tests came back negative for any sort of illness related to her intestines. So we are now started on a Probiotic tablet and we started her on a grain-free diet. I've also been mixing canned pumpkin in her dog food. Her stool is FINALLY formed!!! So, I might suggest trying to mix pumpkin in with her food. :)
Have you been giving her rawhide? When Cooper was little her poop would be very mucousy and stinky - we figured out it was the rawhide as its not digestible. Now she has raw bones, smoked bones and bully sticks which are digestible
yes i have and that makes since her and Bentley have been tearing them up....Thanks for the advice.....I guess it is back to the stinky bully sticks.....
