It is that time of year when dark comes right at "walk time". I am looking for recommendations on light reflecting devices as we live in a very busy area that we (Me, R&B) need to be seen by traffic

We have a lazer-brite leash which is highly reflective (similar to this http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2751365 I would also recommend a vest or something with reflectors on it for you to wear.

I am going to look at the Lighted Collar cover to attach to the leashes. I really don't want to buy new collars and leashes and those look like I could just attach and leave them on. Now I need to find something for me!!

We use the lighted collar covers from Petsmart and they are great. We haven't had a battery go on us yet, but apparently it is watch battery so you should be able to get a new one put in easily. I also wear a bright coloured jacket and a headlamp - we live on a dirt road with no lights at all!!

theres all sorts of reflectors you can find in a good pet store - collars, leashes, lights to hang off collars, coats with reflective piping, bright high visibility vests, reflective leg /tummy bands (which look rather silly!)

I would just like to remind everyone to remember to be seen from behind as well ....... not just from the front!

We wear reflective vests. There are no street lights or sidewalks in our neighborhood. Not only are the vests a must, they work!

I do have a flashing clip-on light I attach to my back. In the front it makes me kind of sick blah.... but

I like the vest because it has its own little pockets for the bags we have to carry on one side and a treat pocket on the other.

Go to Amazon and type refective dog vest in the search box. There are many different choices. I ordered the medium VizVest made by Warntex for both of our doodles. I think the title on Amazon was listed as Reflective Dog Vest-Medium. The vest is bright yellow with orange and gray. Our dogs weigh around 50 lbs. The vests are washable, very reflective, have velcro closings, and are made in the USA:0) This vest has great ratings and the description of the product shows you what it looks like in the dark. The cost was around $16 plus shipping. We're happy with our decision to purchase these American made dog vests.

I like the idea of the reflective vest!! It's getting dark early in the morning as well....I think I am going to get one, too.... Remember what happened to Dublin and Marissa's husband last winter? It was terrible.... :-( We cannot be too causious!!
