Arizona Doodle-sitting exchange group

It was discussed at our last months Doodle Romp that we all dislike having to board our doodles during times we have to be away and can't take them. Several have suggested we start a list of this groups members who would like to share doodle sitting with other members so that when we do have to leave we know who they are with, that they are with other doodles and in a home, not a cage.

If you are close to Tempe, Away-to-Wag has doggie school and boarding without cages. Nathan, the owner, does dog training while the dogs are in daycare and boarding. Mia goes at least once a week to burn off energy. We have one doodle and are retired, so I would be willing to participate too if our doodles are compatible. Let me know when your next romp is so we can meet people!

Hi Mary, I have heard Away to Wag mentioned several times. Some of the people who attend the doodle romps use them. Thanks for letting me know more about it. As for the Romps, go to http://www.doodlekisses.com/events
and look at the Arizona Doodle Romp event and get all the details. Don't see why our doodles wouldn't be compatible, seems they have all had a great time without any problems at all. We have about 12-18 doodles at each romp usually. Hope to see you there.

Sue - I never saw this sorry. Our trainer works in the Power and Hampton Petsmart and her name is Kathy. She is wonderful. We did 4 classes with her (just finished the last one). Tell her Fenway sent you! :-)

I am not from AZ but am coming on the 20th of December. We will be renting a townhouse in Scottsdale. On my drive in, I have an appointment and won't be checked into our townhouse yet. My appointment is near McDowell & 7th and was wondering if anyone is near there to watch Mickey for a little bit. He's a great doodle and gets along with everyone.
