"Darwin and Wes: All of the things they like to do."

Alright, I have completed one book. I have looked at 3 different publishing companies. Blurb, Mypublisher, and Shutterfly. Does anyone have any better suggestions for companies? 

I decided that I might do two books. One, Darwin and Wes on different backgrounds. The pages say "Darwin and Wes like to fly in airplanes" etc. The second book I am trying to decide between opposites, colors, or maybe a "find the green ball' book? 

I did quite a few pages so I will only share some of them. Keep in mind, I was going for a kind of silly vibe, so it's pretty obvious that they are Photoshopped but I think it sort of works.

As you can see, some worked out better than others. I have lots of pictures of Darwin but only a few of my nephew... so it was kind of tricky. What do you guys think?

You've done a terrific job! Your "photoshopping" is great. I think you could be very successful selling personalized books over the Internet. Customers could submit photos, then you do your thing!

Thanks to everyone, you are all so nice. I checked out a ton of different printing companies today. With shipping, they were all over 30 dollars, for a small 7x7" or 8x8". I found that kind of steep. I went to Walmart.com and they had them available in the photo center. They had lots of options and I got a 8x10 custom hardcover for 20 dollars, with FREE shipping. Yay for good deals. It may be a little lower quality than the other sites, but that is okay by me. It should get here next week and I'll definitely take some photos of it when it arrives.

Very cool! Wal Mart is where I go to make Christmas cards and where I got Natalie's Baby Announcements made. I just create the whole image (text and any decorations) and print them as photos. You can even do it online and pick them up an hour later. Very affordable and no long waiting for shipping (for photo cards that is). Plus you can test print one to see if it comes out nicely or too dark and then adjust your image accordingly.

This is so exciting. You are going to be PUBLISHED! Beautiful job, beautiful tribute. My son who is 23 still has a book my sister made for him. Someday Wes will be reading this to his son :)

On the printing of the second edition can you please add pictures of you reading this story to Wes.

I used Adoramapix for my daughter's wedding book. They do quality work, but will be more than Shutterfly. I have also done a lot of Shutterfly books and have had good look there too, but I prefer the hard covers versus the soft covers. Good luck. It looks great.
