Another Way to Help Midnight, Jet and the DRC!!!!

Hey everyone,

 

DK did an amazing job of helping the DRC with the costs of Midnights first new hip but there's still hip #2.  There are also other doodles like Jet in need and many more that we don't even know about yet.  So, we have found a way to help that will cost you nothing but a few minutes of your time!!!  We can WIN $5000 for the DRC between now and November 23rd!  So what do you have to do???

 

1. Click the link below.

2. Once you click it, in the upper right hand corner you will see a sign up option.  Click this option.

3. Select any of the commitments on the right.  It really doesn't matter which one you click. 

4. On the next page fill out the information to create a new tag account. 

5. Go to your email account and open the email to confirm your account and click the link!!! (You

    may need to look in your spam folder.)

 

That's it!!!  The link enclosed will automatically connect you to the account for the DRC.  Please encourage family and friends to click the link as well.  If you have multiple people sign up from the same computer, just make sure you log out of the get hands on challenge completely before you click the link again to make sure it registers correctly. 

 

You will not get any spam or junk mail and there is no virus attached so please do not be concerned!

Lindsey, I tried, but logged in via FB. So your instructions I couldn't follow, then I searched for doodle and joined, hopefully that worked!!

Hi Suzann, I just had someone with your first name tag me. If your last name begins with an ST, you were successful. I've never done it through facebook so I'm not sure how that works but as long as the link is clicked, that's the connection. You never actually need to search for me or the DRC if the link is used.

We need to keep this on the top of the discussion board - I guess you just have to keep posting a new one every day or so.
I sent this to my entire email list and I think I probably got 10 people to do it which is about 10% so not a bad return.

I was nervous cause yesterday you were second....today back to number one - let's keep this going. You are wonderful for doing it.

Thanks so much! I am doing everything I can to keep us number one but a new challenge week will start Thursday morning and since it's the final week of the competition, I'm afraid it may become more difficult. I will try and post a new discussion as often as possible but don't know how to capture more attention.

I have it on my Facebook through your link as well - do you get tagged from that as well - is there a way for you to tell? I have requested to my friends there to "like" it.

I should get tagged through your facebook link as well. I can see a list of names of everyone who has tagged me. It will also tell me if they have confirmed the email and will count to my total.

If your last name begins SUL then I have you confirmed as a tag. You cannot tag more than once from the same email address. However, you can get friends/family to tag with their email addresses even if they're all done from the same computer!

I haven't had DK people show up today so I'm not sure if it is working properly. I've been working hard today to maintain the lead and create a cushion.

I have tried to do this 3 times. Perhaps I am missing something. The first time, I followed the instructions but they never sent me a confirmation e-mail. The second time, they said to use the forgotten password link in order to receive the confirmation e-mail... (why?) and the third time I didn't even get to the e-mail step. I am usually fairly tech savvy so I am WAY confused!
