Any cures for a dog that eats its own feces

My sister has a 7 month old puppy that just started to eat its own feces.  Is there something she can do?  Any additives to food?  Does anyone know why they do this.

There are meds to deal with that or if that is to expensive try pineapple it makes poo taste bad to dogs.

That is so weird! I feed my dogs BB and have never had a problem with it...Hmmm. What do you feed your dogs now? I have been hearing some not too pleasant stuff about BB and am wondering if I need to look at something else...

Hi Jerri,
I'm not sure what my sister feeds her dog. Maybe it's the taste of what ever she's feeding her that makes her do this. I never thought of that. My sister-in-law fed BB to her dog and she never had a problem.

I have been feeding Taste of the Wild to my dogs for a long time and they do not have gas problems. You might want to try it. My dogs love it.
