What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
We have a 70+ lb parchment colored female doodle named Molly. She is such a joy! Always smiling and happy-she loves to snuggle! Unfortunately, she loves to snuggle with my 10 lb minature poodle (and constantly shmooshes her), A Black wavey coated Chese-doodle was added to our family. Her name is Sydney. The jury is still out on Syd...
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder, Gift from Friend/Relative
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
Size was a huge factor. Intelligence and being able to have a dog that is trainable. I have not seen a better pupil...once you get her attention!
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
I have to admit that the best time of day is when I have the dogs with me on my long walks. I can tell that they love the outdoors as much as i do.
Does your doodle(s) shed?
A little bit but nothing major, Nope!
Who grooms your doodle(s)?
My buddy Dylan!
Relationship Status:
Married
Would you be willing to Dog Sit on occasion for other DoodleKisses members? (You are NOT committing to anything by saying yes - you are just saying you might be willing to do this if you were acquainted with the other member and the circumstances were right.)
Yes

Hello everyone! What a friendly site! After reading some of the other blogs I see I am at the right place. Very cool! Getting my first doodle on the 18th. I want to do this right so I really could use advise! This is my first "large dog". If anyone could give me pointers on food- I was thinking of going with Prizm growth formula. How about vitamins and snacks??? What is best??? Any ideas??? Again thanks a bunch for the welcome...

The breeder recommended it and so did the vet she used. In fact he is the one taht started the litter on the grain free formula. Also-my brothers dog became VERY ill last October and it turned out to be the worst form of leukemia that a dog can get. We poured over info on the internet on this disease and many of the articles suggested that the fillers and grains used in many dog foods is thought to (not proven at all) provoke an immune system response that could possibly, maybe have caused the disease. Dogs are meat eaters and should feed on meat and the odd vegetable it suggested. So- having read this and knowing that their is basically no nutritional value in wheat or grains other than weight gain (for dogs that is) I decided on a wheat, grain, soy free dog food.

Jerri~ Welcome to Doodle Kisses. We're sure you are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Flo. Days seem like weeks when it gets this close. Is Flo a standard or a mini doodle? Jersey and Jasmine are mini doodles. Wish you lots of luck and wonderful memories with your new addition. Can't wait to see some pictures of Flo. Diane and the Jersey Girls.
