metal collar clips?

I'm searching for metal quick release clips for my Doods collars. Hoping to find a place where I can buy loose snap closures so I can convert their fashionable collars with plastic ones to more durable metal closures. Has anyone ever purchased loose metal closures for making or repairing dog collars?

Joanne - thanks for writing but I'm inquiring about collar latches. The quick release fasteners on a collar. I plan to cut the plastic ones off the collars and sew metal ones on - if I can find them that is. Like this, only metal:

Ooops, sorry I gave the wrong info. Now after reading all the other responses and seeing the photo I get it. You can go to any camping store such as REI, Adventure 16, Sport Chalet, etc...not sure which are in your area. The sell nylon banding in all sizes which you don't need but they also sell the male/female clips in all the different widths. Take the collar with you because you will need to match up the size.
