I take Fudge and Vern to the groomers about every 6 weeks. It takes Vern (aka Pigpen) approximately 10 minutes to un-groom himself. Does anyone else have this problem?

Here is Vern after a trip to the groomer looking all white and fluffy.

Ok,  here he is about 5 minutes after we get home.

Now he is getting warmed up.

Still Rolling

And later in the week, it often looks like this

Oh, cute but definitely dirty! ;o)
and very stinky............
LOL! Hey it was probably wonderful on the car ride home...right? Too cute for words - loving this post.
Oh how can you care as the cute face says, spoil me with some attention!! Pull these leaves off me - please. Woof Woof!!
Vern looks a lot like my Yankee. Unfortunately, I have to wash him at least once a week because he is now a "working" dog! He is a Therapy Dog so when he does his visits, he is supposed to be groomed at least 48 hours before his visit. Yankee can manage to ungroom himself in a flash especially when he had free access to the pool, but now we have a child proof fence around it because of our granddaughter and it works wonders for dogs too!
"Bath? DId someone say I needed a bath? Whatever gave you THAT idea?"

Here is Sunny after a nice short groom:

Then after about an hour, she looks like the last photo you posted, but the dirt goes all the way up to her elbows because she digs! And she usually has a muddy beard and mustache from shoving her face in the dirt.
