Is your doodle aware of the TV?

The first time Sidiqi became aware of something interesting on the big screen was when one of those caveman commercials came on. He barked furiously at the "monster" for 30 seconds and then, when the commercial ended, he went back to chewing on his rawhide. Now he gets really excited whenever he sees a dog on the screen. (The dancing gecko gets a good reaction, too.) Sometimes he runs toward the TV, then races to the window on the same wall, but he never seems to catch the TV characters outside in our yard. Hmm...

No, not yet--but my Shih-tzu does. She barks every time she sees animals on the tv--too cute.

My doodle just became interested in the mirror. This morning she was watching me get ready in the bathroom, and she couldn't figure out why I was beside her AND in front of her--that was too cute too!!

Duncan loves PBS kids. He'll watch educational television all day long. He also stared pretty hard at an episode of the "West Wing" the other day. Hah!

None of mine notice it. I think Thule has briefly tilted her head at it once for 2 seconds. Does that mean she is dumber or smarter to know TV is ultimately useless and only her dumb humans stare at motionless boxes???

Cayenne occasionally watches. If we say, "Oh, there's a dog", the first thing she'll do is run to the t.v

The first time the dogs 'ran off' the screen she went looking for them :)

Yes, Kodie like the "Dog Whisperer"....I guess it's because the dogs are always barking on that show. She barks at herself in the mirror, and in the fireplace glass doors....

I do not know of a channel for dogs, but I have heard there is a video. When we are away we turn on the XM radio on the TV. The dogs love the gentle music.

Max loves the movie BENJI hahha and oh yeah, Lassie.
actually he's been watching TV since he was 5mos old .....he's 23mos old now
AT least he watches it by the couch with us now as he USED to sit in front of the TV hahhaaa

Peanut just glances and goes about her business but if she hears a baby cry on tv/movie
she gets concerned trying to find it.

Every once and a while something will catch their attention and they will both stop and watch for a minute. They haven't asked me to Tivo anything yet.

oh my gosh mine sometimes watches general hospital with me I love that soap!! If I'm laying across my bed he lays down right next to me, and stares at the t.v. ...........

Mine don't "watch" TV, but when they hear noises on it, they definitely respond...barking, sirens, etc.....

That is so cute.

Kozzie girl could care less about the TV. Miss Sylvie once in awhile something will catch her eye and she will watch, but really doesn't do anything special about what she sees.
