Do My Doodles Look like Mops??

Yesterday, I went to the Butcher shop to get Fudge and Vern some dog bones. Whenever I get out of my car, Fudge always jumps right into the driver's seat to wait for me and Vern takes the passenger seat. I could see them clearly from inside the store. I was paying for my bones and a woman came in and said, "Hey somebody is waiting for you and said to hurry up." So, I picked up one of the bones and waved it in the direction of the car and said, "I am coming already, give me a break!" Next, another woman said her husband had commented on the driver in my car and she wanted to know what kind of dogs I had. I told her Labradoodles and she said, "Well, I told my husband they look like mops." Now, I admit on some days Vern looks like a big, dirty mop, but Fudge never does. Anyway, does this look like a mop to you?

Not really sure what kind of "MOPS" she has, but my mops  were never that CUTE~

I got Murph trimmed yesterday, he he was definitely looking like a mop.  Vern reminds me a lot of Murphy...two adorable "Doodle Mops".  I agree that Fudge would never be mistaken for a mop though.

It made me laugh, and I have to admit Vern is starting to look like a big polar bear. He goes for grooming next week. Maybe we should start a group called The Mops :) Murphy and Vern could be the first members.

Add Gavin to the band - he can can play bass.  I always think that Gavin, Vern and Murphy have a similar "look."

Add this Murphy to the group, though I think he looks more like a polar bear. That polar bear/car commercial always reminds me of Murphy.

The Doodle Mops it sounds like a band!  What would they sing??  Bandit could definitely be a mop!  HIs hair is 5" long and you often can't tell his head from his butt!!  Rosey is gettin cut short next week so she will just have to be a fan of the Doodle Mops!

I think Who Let the Dogs Out would be great. I just looked up dog songs and I guess Johnny Cash had one called Dirty ol' Egg Suckin Dog. Vern could sing lead on that...he is dirty most of the time and I bet he would eat an egg. Fudge and Rosey will just have to be groupies.

I know I'm dating myself, but there was once a pretty popular band from Liverpool that was sometimes referred to as the "Moptops". They were cute, but not as cute as doodles!
