Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Where are you getting your dood's presents this year?  What's your favorite site?  Where do you find the best deals??  What is your DOODLE's favorite toy???  YOURs?

Bella loves her unstuffed fox toy, she's on her second.  Our retriever loves the kong squeaky tennis balls.  The lab likes nylabones.  I like anything that makes them happy :)

I find that Drs Foster and Smith have the newest and most diverse selection, while dog.com has the best deals . . . by far!  They have all of the essentials for dirt cheap prices and then some, so they are my new favorite go-to store.

Hi Camilla!!  We got Rosey Hide a Squirrel last christmas and she loved it.  The squirels lasted most of the year but we also introduced a puppy into the mix so.  I have found the plush puppies to be a good brand for plush toys, we have since bought Egg Babies, 16 squeaker chipmunk, the hide a birds but we didn't buy the "nest" I figure they can use the squirell trunk.  We also bough hide a bee but the bees didn't last long so I wouldn't get that.

If Darwin is more into balls then I would recommend jolly teaser ball (small size) or wiggley jiggley ball.  Rosey also loved her Zany Crazy ball which was this knobbly battery operated ball but Bandit chewed the switch off..

Good Luck!!

I think  he's an equal opportunist as far as toys go. He's into everything. Unfortunately, he destroys basically anything that isn't a ball in a matter of a few days. I've been trying to break him of this, and bought durable toys... to no avail. All 3 of those balls sound awesome, I'm going to look them up now!

I know Camilla! We bought Tori an 'indestructible' toy made of fire hose... well - it may be able to hold back the force of water, but not to the jaws of destruction!  lol

WOW, Suzann.. you had me at the wiggley jiggley!  (But then put a screeching halt on it saying Bandit chewed of the switch...)  I'm suspecting Tori would follow what Bandit did!)

Shelly go for wiggley jiggley!! The switch was on zany crazy ball.  There is no switch or batteries required for the wiggley jiggley.  They sell them at petedge.com, we got ours at PETCO.

I just found a picture of Wiggley Giggly - not Jiggley, it giggles when it rolls around..  I will put a comment on your page too.

Hide a squirrel is GREAT!!! Our pups have had theirs for about 3 years and still play with it. Mostly they like to just run around stealing the squirrels from eachother and then play tug with the stump ...
Pocket LOVES all the hide-a-toys! His snakes, squirrels, and bees are still totally in tact (he is pretty gentle with his "babies") but the bags have all been destroyed. It is worth trying the toy out I think - maybe he won't destroy the bag and you can hide other things in there to keep him entertained. Pocket Is insanely excited when something unexpected comes out of the bags, like a ball or rope.

Baxter is asking for squeaky toys, bones, and balls. Can't have too many balls.  He does not tear his toys up but loves getting a new toy.  Carries it around for days.

Lucy and Sophie were going to get a "hand-free" blow dryer on a rolling stand, but I just found out they are on backorder until February so guess we will be looking for plan B.  They are heartbroken you know!

Rosey is getting - Jolly tug & toss ball, Jolly Pets Racoon, an everlasting treatball,Big mouth giraffe with tennis balls., new frisbee, and a giant turkey drumstick rawhide

Bandit is getting, egg replacements for his Frog and Turkey egg babies, Jolly Pets Squirrel, everlasting treat ball,  and unstuffed blue monster, giant turkey drumstick rawhide

We like nylabones too but not the edible ones, only the really hard ones.  They love the nylabone wishbone that is one of their favorites to chew.

I love DrsFosterandSmith and have lots of their things. I got the Jolly toys from Amazon and the others from DFS  PetEdge is good for some things like supplies  but almost all stuffies and other toys we bought from them were gone in minutes.

We are also going to have to make a toy donation to somewhere.  DH has a new rule with every new toy that comes in 1 or 2 go out... we have LOTS of toys!!

You sound like me!! Bella's bday is three days after Christmas too, so they will be inundated with toys! I also got $200 worth of toys for the local SPCA from dog.com that fill a 4 x 2 x1 box!! Great value
