I have just figured out in the last 20 minutes how to insert our photo projects that have a "code" attached to them. I did have the help of two DKers so thank you! When you are done working on your project you will see where it asks if you want to send it to FaceBook or Twitter. You will also see "or other" or something like that. Click on that and you then get a choice of codes. You want the code that directly goes into a Blog. You will see a place to select/copy. Then go to your discussion or comment box on DK and...here is what has changed...you will try to "paste" and it won't give you the option. On the tool bar IN the comment box, click on the far right box that says HTML. Then go back to the body of the comment box and when you right mouse click you will see the PASTE. Click there and whallllaaaa! Now, I just hope I didn't leave a step out...give it a try!

Good to know....thanks for sharing!
I just found out that you have to do the same thing if you want to add the little clip art that is available to us at the end of the comment box. Type what you want, click on HTML and then pick your clip art. Funny symbols will appear in your text but no matter...it will show just fine when you click on "ADD REPLY".
What a lot more work! I think I will use less pictures - too much trouble. :-(
Nancy, if you use Piknik then you get to keep the file of your photo with added santa hats, etc. Inserting an image file does not require the use of HTML the way inserting code does.
But if you could email me (send to my real life email) a copy of the code you use I can play with it and see if there is a way to make it work. Leave lots of space between the code and your writing so I can clearly see it. If it doesn't come out right via email I'll let you know.
I will have to check Piknik out. I have used Glittergraphics, Picasa, BeFunky, and Blingee to do things so I just need to stretch my skills.
It really shouldn't be much more work unless something is going wrong. But the advantage of Piknik (or ANY Of the sites that let you save an actual image to your computer instead of just gives you a code to paste) is that you can insert it as a photo rather than pasting a code. But again...it should be the same amount of work (save for having to click on HTML once) to type in words and paste the code.
The cool thing about a code is that you can save the code and words together in a word file and cut and paste and save it together. If you have a photo you have to put it on the comment and then the words separately. For me it would entail opening two files - one being iphoto (where I would have to open another file and then another to get to the picture, and then going back and forth between them each and every time. I will have to play around. I am the person who can't figure out Facebook
Where were you a couple of days ago when I was pulling my hair out! I thought it was just me!! LOL...but I actually saved the "creation" to my computer picture files and then went where the picture/icon is to add photos and chose that one..it worked and I actually managed to do it 2 times!! Good to know this way though..Thanks!
Nancy I got my glitter box in on my page but think Iost my commet box and I have a bunch of words above it
also is there a discussion to change the border too??? Thanks for your help
