I am a new dog owner.....and Comiskey has mastered the usual dog tricks....roll over....high five...low five...etc....but I am looking for unusual tricks that your dogs may do...
Murphy does a trick called peekaboo. My sons love to have him surprise their friends with it.
When he was a puppy, I taught him to go through my legs (from behind) and sit
between my feet. This worked well in puppy class to keep him from being so distracted and to feel safe.
Well, The Murph Monster is now 31 inches tall at the shoulder.
You can only imagine the reaction he gets when he "surprises" someone.
We found out Comiskey will do anything for a treat....actually...it's kind of funny...as soon as I sit on the floor with a treat she goes into her routine....sit...high five...low five...roll over.....hence, the reason I needed some new material.....good luck....
Hi, The one of our really cool tricks, is tidy up. Abby will pick up each of her toys and put them in her toy basket, only one catch, so far she'll only put one away at a time, its a work in progress..
Oh, I'm glad you said that. I haven't taught Halas much beyond the basics yet, but I was going to start teaching some new tricks this weekend. I'd like to go for his CGC, so now I'll hold off on some other tricks until we do that.
I've taught Koda how to do an army crawl and "Bang!" which is when I pretend to shoot him and he lays down on his side. That one seems to amuse people a lot. Sometimes Koda even makes it more dramatic and barks as he dramatically falls to the ground....he's an odd dog...haha but I love him.
Murphy does the "bang" trick too. He just learned it this summer for his human brother. He is sooo melodromatic. He barks and moans until he finally dies. We are not sure why he does this, but he keeps us laughing and we love him.
