Shelby is so so fun to be in the car with.  She comes most all places with me that she is safe.  I totally enjoy her fluffy face blowing in the wind in the sideview mirror.  Girl reminds me of Valcor in the Neverending Story!  How many of you Absoultely Must take your Doodle with you?

Murphy - you are so totally cool - you must stop traffic!!!!!!!!!!!
He definitely does!
Linda, where did you get Murphy's car harness? I think this would work for Max. Murph, you are one cute dood!!
That is actually the human seat belt. I got a harness for him and we used it for awhile, but he is so good and has such good "car legs" that this works for us. He actually WANTS to be in the seatbelt and nudges me with his big doodle nose should I forget.
Our pups are not thrilled to go in the car-- they don't get sick or anything-- just don't want to get in. Any suggestions? We want to take them everywhere with us.
Sharon - see above and the picture of the car seat.  You could get one large one for two puppies.

McGee doesn't mind riding, he sits up and watches what goes by out the windows, and likes sticking his head out (when it's warm enough to roll them down!).  But he won't get in!  I'm sure I did or didn't do something when he was a puppy, but if he thinks we're going to the car he will get as far away as the leash will allow when we walk by it.  And when I do open the car door he sits and doesn't move, so I'm in the driveway maneuvering a 70 lb. doodle into the car.  I figure I can do some training and get it worked out, but like was mentioned earlier it's finding time to work on it sometimes that's tough.

Btw, anybody else ever come out of the post office, forget there was a doodle in the back seat, hop in your car and reach back for the seat belt and have a big doodle head right over your shoulder?  That'll give you a start!
