Doodle Dreams

During the live chat we were doing last night, a few of us were talking about dreams we had about our doodles. I thought it would be fun to start a discussion for all of us to share doodle dreams we've had. 

In my dream, which I had recently, I was chatting to Darwin and turned to me and told me to "shut up"! It was the weirdest thing and now I feel embarrassed around him... LOL. Perhaps I'm talk to him a little too much. 

Does anyone else have weird/funny/scary dreams about their doodles?

Funny timing - I just had one last night and it was a scary one.  Lola was with me in midtown Manhattan near Grand Central without a leash on.  I thought I lost something and there was someone who was collecting all the bags and things people lost so I was trying to go through this really big bag of stuff to find what I lost (but I don't remember what it was).  I lost the grip of Lola's collar and she wandered off - then I saw someone from High School that I hadn't seen in a zillion years.  He was right near Lola so I said grab her but he didn't hear me and then she was gone.  It was so frightening - I started crying - somehow realized it was a dream and forced myself awake.   Lola was asleep on the floor so I went down and hugged her!!! It's really stayed with me - much more than most dreams do.

It's really weird, but I never dream about the Doods (at least that I can remember).  I wonder why this would be since they are so much a part of my life.  Most of my dreams are still about work...and I've been retired for three years.  I guess my subconscious mind is a bit behind the times.

Funny, Jane, I don't dream about the dogs either and most of my dreams are about being late for work or going to the wrong place.  I have also been retired for three years, but I sometimes sub as needed but only at two schools.  I guess every waking moment is spent on the dogs, so they haven't entered my sleep yet.  My husband, however, had nightmares about Hondo before he died.

I dream about work too! It's always about not having my shoes, doing my job wrong, getting locked outside of the building at night without a phone, etc. I don't find my work stressful when I'm awake... but apparently I do when I'm sleeping?

I dream about being in college!  And suddenly it's the end of a quarter or close to some big test in one class that I realize I have only attended a couple of times!

You're lucky. Oftentimes it's multiple classes with major tomes I haven't opened. Or I'm in the school and I can't find the class.

Oh this is me all over!  And I have been out of university for 24 years!

Then there's the one where I have to go to the bathroom and there are no doors on any of the stalls and there are all kinds of men walking around...

Me too for the unprepared-for-exams college dream & the bathrooms with no doors (or half-doors).  I've had the college one so often, I swear I sometimes wonder if I really did graduate.

Oh SOO many nasty bathroom dreams where the toilets are overflown and gross.  Bathrooms with dozens of stalls without doors or dirty dirty toilets.  Or I can't find my shoes and have to go to the public bathroom in bare feet. Oh my!

omg, i "love" the no shoe variation.  I wonder if that'll make it into my bathroom dreams now.

I once had a dream that huff ran away and some people told me that huff was in the pound. So I went to the pound and someone had already got him. I didn't know what to do so I started crying. And then somehow I woke up but I was still crying because the dream seemed so real. Once I saw Huff I felt so much better. But to this day whenever I hold his leash I hold on very tight so my dream sosen't come true.
