At one point in my career I worked on the 26th floor of a downtown office building.  It never in a hundred years would have ever occurred to me to try and walk up, but one day we had a fire drill and had to walk DOWN all 26 flights.  I was so sore the next day I could barely move!  I never would of thought that going down would be a problem.  Imagine my disappointment the next time the fire alarm rang!   ugg .....

Stairs are the worst....No wonder they made a torturous gym machine to simulate them. ;)
Really struggled with not wanting to get on the treadmill, but I did it! 30 minutes of the mountain workout! Now I think I will paint my toenails! :)
I'm so glad you resisted the temptation to put it off.  No one has ever said, "Gee, I sure wish I hadn't worked out today",,lol.  Good job.

Thanks!  You are a great "cheerleader"!!  Got a call this afternoon that kind of brought me down, so that was part of the problem.  So I fought through it and am glad that I did!

  1. Exercise: Walked/ran 2-ish miles with the girls.
  2. For me:really counter productive....but I had a glass of wine with dinner.
  3. Check
  4. Small portion of steamed veggies and whole wheat pasta tossed in EVOO.

You ladies really inspired me to get out there today.  I'm so impressed with your dedication.  Thank you!

Tuesday morning ........ It is 7:45 am and I've completed my hour on the treadmill.   Today starts week 4 of Weight Watchers, 8.5 lbs down, not sure but maybe about 23 to go.  I'm starting to feel like I might actually be able to keep this up!
