My 15 week doodle is mute

Not that I am complaining but my mini golden doodle barely makes a sound.  Is this normal?  If so when will it stop?  He barks to let us know he needs to leave his crate to go potty but other than that he never makes a sound.  Should I be counting my blessings or enjoying the silence while I have it :)

Brodie very rarely barks and when he does its because our other dog barks. He didnt really start barking until he was about 1 year old. But he does whine. If he wants you to stop what your doing and play with him, he will give you the most horrible whine until you stop what you are doing and play with him. Also if his ball gets stuck under the furniture and he cant get it, he will whine. He really is a such a big baby!

Both my doodles do the same! It works for them. At least they let us know where their toys are.

hanks everyone.  It's nice to know that there is nothing wrong with Nash.  We love the silence.  As long as he doesn't find his voice, I'll be able to bring him to work with me. Trust me we have all counted our blessings.

Its Funny I was going to ask some of the other dog owners if it is usual for Labradoodles to bark so much My Harvey is a lovely little pup but he has a bit of a gob on him to say the least I have only ever owned one other dog years ago and I had him from a pup until he passed and he wasnt anything like the young Harvey I can tell you he loves to bark wine yap he is good and stuff but when he is ready to be herd for what ever reason to play to get places he wants to go but cant quite yet as he is to small or just for the fun he will bark bark and bark some moore he is only 11 weeks old so enjoy I am only hoping that young Harvey boy zipps it a bit when he gets older XX your very lucky..

Lucy girl does not bark much either! :) YEAH!!! My last dog barked at anything and EVERYthing... So we are loving it! 

She will bark every now and then if we get her to get the zoomies and spazz out. She has never barked out of anger or being scared.
