Karen, everyone....HELP

I am at a loss. Allie has been eating Fromm for several months now. This was the first food that Allie would really like to eat...... Yeah. As soon as I put down her food she would eat enthusiastically for the first time ever. She was eating one of the fish varieties. I'm not sure the exact type but it was like a triangle shape. This lasted a long time since I bought the big bag (at least two or three months. Then I got the grain free type when they had a free coupon offer. She liked this as well. Well.......I went back a few days ago and I thought I would try a different flavor. The fish was a little stinky and made her breath smell so I thought I would try the chicken flavor. She will not touch it. I began to get worried so I put her food in one of those balls. She will eat it now that it is a challenge. Do you think I should be worried? I will go back and get the other flavor but I hate to spend another $50 dollars. I am sure I can donate this food to a shelter or something. I just don't get why she does not like this flavor when she loved the other and it is the same brand. Do you think I should stick this flavor out or go back and get the other flavor.

Most (if not all) pet supply stores will take back an opened bag of food, especially for exchange of another. That said, Lucy gets the Chicken a la Veg dry with a heaping spoonful of Fromm's canned shredded chicken, a squirt of salmon oil and a 1/2" slice of cooked sweet potato, all mashed up together. She loves sweet potato, so anything I mix it into she'll eat, no problem. I've not yet tried the other Fromm dry flavors but plan to in the future using the small bags to start.

Gee, late to the meeting and not needed anyway, lol.

I have returned open bags of a certain flavor of food to the store for exchange, not a refund, and there's been no problem, even without a receipt.

The others have given you good ideas, as well. Nice job, Food Groupies.

Peri does not like the salmon Fromm.  She only likes pork, duck and chicken.  Go figure.  I really don't know why!  However, Peri is such a food hound, she will eat it if there is nothing else.

Update.......yesterday morning she still would not eat her food when I put it down for her........so I decided I would bite the bullet and go back to the pet store and buy another bag. I was not positive on the flavor she liked, I just knew it was the triangle shaped. I asked the lady at the store and told her what had happened. She had samples of the food in little bags that you could see through. She even gave me samples of other flavors so I can test tem out before I buy them! She also told me if I brought the bag back they would refund my money! When I got home, I put Allie's food down and she scarfed it up. She kind of looked at me with the cutest face like she was so grateful. This morning I put her food down and she happily ate the entire bowl. Ahh what we will do for our doods.

What type of food?  Did you get samples of Fromm? Just curious!

Yes! They gave me 3 ounce packets of Fromm food. I told her I would love to try different flavors without buying the entire bag. She gave me two packets of every flavor I was curious about. I guess it always helps to ask.
