While visiting Grandma, Sydney and Olivia scooted their butts (one or two times) on Grandma's nice carpet.  Grandma did see that one time and thought our Doodles did that because of an itchy butt.  We even noticed a skidmark one time and quickly cleaned it up so Grandma didn't see that.  Grandma has no knowledge of anal glands and neither did we before our Doodles.  Should we fess up?  We're afraid the Doodles may not be welcomed back.  What would you do?

You guys are cracking me up. Wouldn't YOU want to know if a dog scooted and possibly rubbed poop on your rug?  And unless you cleaned it with a Spot Bot with Oxy Clean solution, it has nasty stuff lingering in the threads. Whether they were scooting for anal glands or to clean poop, poor grammy needs to know !!!! Now fess up! :)

Just wanted to clarify.... for those whose seemed offended by the fact that we are questionning whether or not to tell Doodle Grandmom about the scooting.  Well, we (Kathleen and I) do all of our Mom's cleaning and cook her meals.  We bring the Doodles to her house to help her deal with her Parkinson's.  So our Doodles comfort her mostly.... but Mom was never a dog lover before our Doodles came into our lives.  Now they make her smile and laugh alot which she doesn't do much of anymore these days!  So if she knew about anal glands she may react a bit differently than we as Doodle (DOG) owners do.  Our Doodles are always groomed and taken care of so when we bring them to their Grandmom's we always leave her house spanking clean.  Our Doodles have been recently expressing their glands on their own since we have changed their diet to Canine Caviar.  Actually our Mom's house is left cleaner (actually spotless) than our own house.
