A Fromm Mystery...Have I Lost My Mind?

I am starting to feel like Banjo in Carol's recent post about cabin fever.  Maybe the weather has finally caused me to snap, because tonight I opened my kitchen drawer that holds all my dish towels and there was dog food everywhere. It was all throughout the drawer. I called my husband in to look (because I usually blame him first) and he had no idea either what happened. Now, I can assure you I did not take the dog's expensive Fromm food and throw it in my towel drawer, so what happened? Was I sleep walking? Did Vern or Fudge learn to open drawers and wanted to stash some food away for a rainy day? Is my husband pretending we are in the movie Gaslight and trying to drive me insane?  This is a mystery to me.

I guess a house flood trumps a little ol' mouse. In the scheme of things, it could always be worse. Tell Rosey and Bandit, Fudge and Vern go to bed early...they need their beauty rest. The DH is unfazed by all of this....after you have done battle with a groundhog, you can handle anything.

See I can just picture Rosie and Fudge sharing their beauty secrets... and Vern could teach Bandit to be a man!! LOL!!  The flood was only worse because it involved the Insurance Company Grrrrr....

I agree. Try the traps. I know I had dog food appearing under the couch one time. Now I set traps in the basement and under the sink when it starts to get cold. I always have at least a few "takers". Ugh. But really you can't move way from them.

There's a mystery afoot, a real whodunit. Can't wait to find out the answer to this one. Like Karen I have been guilty of doing some odd things but like you I think I would notice if I poured dog food into a drawer. Laurie I hope you find an explanation other than mice.

Sounds like something I would do in my sleep. I have found all kinds of weird things in the wrong places. That is so strange, If it happens again, you need to put a video camera in there.. Fromm is nothing to play around with!!!

After this, I am not sure I want to know what goes on in my cupboards at night :) Party central, I guess.

I don't do mice.  I do cats.  However one year, I planted a 3 packs of sunflower seed in my boyfriends yard

( now my husband ).  They all came up.  Every seed.  And the mice all came too.  Once the seeds were gone the mice came inside for the dog food and yes, the dog food seemed to travel.  Eeew Yuck from me too.

So this won't help much but I no longer plant seed close to the house or feed the birds 

This was one of 7 areas.   This is MICE FOOD.  Then they come in to eat the dog food.
