A Dream Come True to clean up those muddy paws...

Hi there doodle friends. Just had to share this one. I think someone made a post a while back regarding a floor cleaner that was "out-of-this world". Well..I'm here to attest she was right. Since acquiring my second large doodle, my "used-to-be-grass-lawn" is now mud from their constant playtime and my newly light beige stone tile floor with its "cream" grout was now brown with "black" grout. No amount of mopping could get inbetween the tiles. Anyway, I purchased on line (Amazon) for about $69 the Eureka Hard Surface Floor Steamer...OM gosh...I just cannot believe what an easy and amazing job it did. It not only cleaned the grout back to "cream" but also the floor is immediately dry as it only uses steam. For all those people who do not have the joy of 8 muddy paws playing chase around the entire house, you wont understand as to why I am so elated with this product. For all those who do, I urge you to invest in the best appliance ever. Thank you doodle member who first suggested this product. I cannot find the original posting...but you are the best.

Yes, the Eureka is absolutely silent..So much so, I had to keep checking the green light to make sure it was still on. You will LOVE it...It is not a vacuum though, just a steamer...

I have the Shark steam cleaner and love it too...I use it on my Brazilian cherry hardwood too...does an amazing job!

You probably have just the steamer and not the vac and steam as Kim returned hers because it was noisy...

Frances, it may have been me that you read the post.  http://www.doodlekisses.com/forum/topics/clean-floors   I am thrilled with mine, I have never had so many clean floors at one time.  It is easy to set up, so I dont hesitate to get it out to keep things clean. I'm with you, the Eureka rocks!

Sharon...yeah...it was YOU. Thank you sooooooooooooo much for your posting.  Prior to reading your suggestion, I was truly so depressed regarding the state of my gorgeous new tile floor. Don't get me wrong, I adore my two doodles, but goodness me...I was mopping up after them constantly and was never, ever satisfied with how the tile came up. Then you made that wonderful posting and I immediately ordered the Eureka and have been so excited for it to come. Best part was it was on sale and also "free shipping". It came two days ago and I am a "steaming maniac" I just had to repost as I know other doodle owners would so benefit from owning one. I am so happy you saw my post as I always have problem going back and finding older postings....We, in this very clean and sterilized household, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to share your cleaning experience. I sincerely hope many others follow suit...xx

Suzann, I just ordered the 313A yesterday from Amazon. I'm sure it is the same one since there was only one Eureka and it was in the price range Frances quoted.

Thanks Frances, I have a shark and used it tonite and remember why I don't like it.. the cord is too short, the handle is too short and I constantly have to refill the water.  I am trying to clean hardwood...from 8 muddy, snowy, wet paws!!
