NAME: Bella                  BREED: Labradoodle                    SEX: Female - SPAYED

AGE: 3 Years                COLOR: Grey/Lavender                WEIGHT: 38 Lbs.

LAST SEEN: This morning 10:00 AM near 35 Riverdale Road in Port Chester, NY.  Bella was adopted last year from Doodle Rescue Collective Inc. She is a medium sized Labradoodle...She looks more liek a purebred poodle with a full tail. She is a unique grey/lavender color.

She bolted through an open door at the home of her Pet-sitter last evening. Her owner is FRANTIC...

Bella is very shy and fearful of new people and situations and will run from strangers.

She is wearing a collar and tags. She is micro-chipped.

Greenwich Animal Control has been notified and are on the scene but no one has seen Bella since this morning.

"Bella and I were visiting a friend in Port Chester (we live in Valley Cottage) and when my friend went to take her own dog out for a walk, Bella bolted past her and ran out the front door.  She was spotted on Feb. 9, 2011 around 9:30a in the morning near my friend’s house.  Bella is especially skittish around strangers and may be difficult to catch – DO NOT CHASE – just call if you see her.  Bella is not aggressive toward people or other animals.  Bella was rescued by me in April, 2010 and has come a long way but she’s still scared by new situations.  PLEASE call if you see her or are able to capture her.  I miss her and am desperately worried about her!"

If you live in the area and should happen to see this girl please contact her owner.

Megan Cummings at 609-706-2508.

I am beyond delighted to hear this. I had let Patty know I could help today but the search area had widened and it seemed impossible. This is just wonderful news.
Wonderful!!! It's not often you get a happy ending to a lost dog story.  HOORAY!
YESSSSS!!!!!
Great news!  I'm sure she'll spend today snuggling and warming up.
Yay, this made my day. So happy she is safe and at home.  Everytime I read something like this, I imagine my sweet Peri all alone, confused and scared.
YAY!!  So happy Bella is safe at home!!

What GREAT news!  I was just wondering how Bella was doing.  So glad to hear that Bella's back home.

FANTASTIC NEWS!!!    I have tears of joy in my eyes. Give Bella a huge hug and doodle kisses from me and Louie
We are so thankful she is safe at home.  Great news!
We have been talking about Bella ever since we read that she was missing.  We were hoping she was with someone who was taking care of her.  We are so happy to hear she is home.  Bella will problably get some real special treatment for awhile!
Yeah, great news that Bella is home.  I have been considering letting my ALD off leash on the trails at Ft. Ord where we ride our mountain bikes.  So far, he has only been off leash away from home at the dog park.  This makes me rethink what to do.  It is so easy for them to bolt when something of interest comes across the trail.  And so hard to find them once they are lost.
So glad to hear the Bella was found and is safe.  I am sure this is a worst nightmare for all of us!
