Brandy keeps bringing in sticks from outside and chewing on them in the house.

We give him all kinds of good things to chew on .....bullys, chicken breast, beef rib

bones but he stills brings in the lumber.

Any ideas on how to stop this.

Thanks,

Dave

Install a doggie door! Sunny tries and tries and tries to bring sticks in from outside, but they are too big to fit through the doggie door, so in order to come inside, she must drop the stick. It was unintentional when we installed the doggie door, but there we go!

No Idea how to stop it but I thought about this budweiser classic super bowl commercial. LOL

It could be a lot worse!!!

Ha!! That's funny!!! And that WOULD be a problem!!
very funny!

Close the door? and provide chews =)

I have to agree with the others and use the "drop it" command.  Hunter will bring in sticks, rocks and the landscape bricks if she has the chance. LOL  She also tries to take her indoor toys outside and the "drop it" works for that as well.
Remove all of the sticks from your yard first????  LOL
Brinkley LOVES his sticks also.  He would try to bring them in all the time.  If he'd sneak one in, I'd tell him to drop it (sometimes he'd drop it on his own and sometimes I'd have to help him drop it.) I worked on "drop it" right outside the door for weeks.  Now, he drops his current stick in the pile by the door before we even go inside-- I don't even have to say the words anymore, he just knows!  It's wonderful.  Good luck.
