Boarding in Contra Costa County or near there

Hi,

 

I tried to do a discussion yesterday, but I think I did it wrong so my post did not post--ha!

 

anyway, my husband and I are leaving for three weeks end of the summer and are looking for a nice and reasonable place to board our two doodles.  I have someone who I love who stays in our home, Jan Turner, of Nutz 4 Mutz, but this time with a home exchange situation a family will be staying in our home and they don't want to take the responsibility of watching our doodles for three weeks which I can understand.  Let me know if you have any suggestions!

Kooper loves Play Dog Play in Petaluma. It might be far, but Molly and John are awesome and your doodles will love it there!  If you do tour their facility, tell them Kooper (with a K) sent you.

Not sure if you are still looking but I have used both Wunderbar in Walnut Creek and their sister kennel in Brentwood, Brentwood Pet Resort. Hope you found something that works out for you!

Where in Contra Costa are you?  I have used Tassajara Kennels in Pleasanton in the past.  They are just a kennel situation in the country but the people are loving to the animals.  

More recently, though, I've used WOOF in San Ramon because the dogs get to play all day with other dogs.  

I don't know if you'd consider either option "reasonable," but you might want to look into it.
