Hi! I am ordering my cc comb and am confused with all the choices! I am undecided between the 000 fine/coarse buttercomb, the poodle comb, the 005 long tooth fine/coarse buttercomb, and the 011 staggered tooth buttercomb. AAGGHH.. so many options :)
Any suggestions are appreciated!

Combs are one tool that does not need to be pricey to be good. $10 to $12 will get you a good steel comb. I find the best is the medium coarse with the longer tynes. That's about 1 1/4 inches long tynes and a 7 inch comb.
Here is an example

Thanks Barb...
This was helpful to know...
Since the comb is one of the most used items in our arsenal...I often wondered how important it was which one we had...and...of course... I thought that to get the best it needed to be pricey. (smile)
I use the Les Pooch brushes...and am happy with them...but was looking for another comb too.
Thanks again for all of your help...
I hope all is well with you and all of your beautiful babies...
I was looking for a staggered tooth comb so I ordered the 011 and it is HEAVY, sending it back for sure. The poodle comb it's long so I don't use it much. I ordered these combs after adopting Clover the dood, but use the combs I got from Pet Edge the most. Good Luck
Order your grooming supplies from Renspet or Debours. I use them both and they are in Ontario. I'm in BC.
