I am not sure if I am totally insane or if I am just madly in love, you decide.

Jack's second birthday is on March 6th. I am giving him a full blown birthday parties with invitations, dog and human cake. I have dog and human goodie bags and games for the human children coming as well as the furry children coming.

Who ever would have known that the Dollar Tree caters to umm love sick or insane people. The status is yet to be determined. They actually have a dog birthday party set, you know with streamers, hats, goodie bags, and treats for the goodie bags. Yes, I got it. Jack also got a singing birthday candle.

The dogs are all getting new leashes, bones (not from the dollar store) as well as a chew toy. They will be served doggie cake, cookies and peanut butter ice cream. Then they will have an hour of a romp play time.

THe kids coming will have games to play that involve the dog that they own.

We are not accepting gifts for Jack, as he has every toy ever made so I am having the people bring a decent cat or dog food to donate to the animal shelter in Jacks name!!!

I was so excited, then I got home and started thinking, Have I totally lost my mind or am I totally in love, or both?????

Doodle Judges rule in please!!!

Love sick for sure!  I posted the same question in January before Murphy's party.  Check out my page for pictures.  We had soooooo much fun.  We had 23 people and 10 dogs.  Murph's trainer came and played games.  We had doggie cake and cookies and cupcakes, people cake and people food, wine......We gave all the doggies treat bags and had an "autograph hound" for everyone to sign.  It was awesome! I don't regret it at all.    Murphy wishes he could come to Jack's party!

I can't wait to see your pictures!

Ronna I am headed to your page now to check out pictures.... I love the idea of  playing games, I am wracking my brain trying to come up with fun games that a bunch of dogs could play. I am going to ask my trainer tomorrow.  I know for the kids, we are going to play "doggie, doggie, wheres my bone" and I think I am going to have all the kids line up and only have one of them holding a treat, and see which dog finds it first.

Next year, I plan on doing a full doggie romp fundraiser for the local shelter. Much Much bigger and I will invite the local dogs from the day care centers where Jack goes too. I just didn't think of it earlier.  It kind of makes me feel good about giving to dogs that don't have anything, as mine doesn't know what it is like to even pant for a more then a few minutes before he is cooled off with ice water and cool clothes... I feel strongly that every dog, no matter what should be loved and treated with respect.

So next year we will do an all out huge fundraiser!!! I am also starting the process for a SC doodle romp so hopefully then we can also find a way to donate to some shelters. Lord knows our babies have everything.

That is such a great idea!!!

Totally lost your mind due to being totally in love! Welcome!

LOL Daisy, some people would argue with you that I had to have had my mind in order to have lost it!!!
Insane AND love sick!
All aboard the train to Crazy Town!  I'm right there with you...
Choooooooooooooo Chooooooooooooooooo Love the sound of the crazy train.
and couldn't be happier.. wait till next year... I am already thinking of all the different local organizations that can benefit from doing a fund raiser birthday party for Jack!!!!!
I think you are looking for the "love sick" answer. If you were looking for the crazy answer, you would have posted this on your Facebook page. It's all in your audience;)

LOL Leigh if you were my FB friend you will see that todays status was about Jacks birthday party and I have over 300 friends, some of them are doctors I work with, some are doctors that I am their patient, colleagues etc. Anyone who knows me, knows how much Jack has changed my life. Living with a very serious illness, causes you to party every chance you can, live life to the fullest and just all around not take things for granted. Having Jack is a gift to me from God that I intend to go to the highest limit of fun and enjoyment with, Jack is not my whole life though I have amazing friends and family too.

Luckily my friends are used to my hair brained ideas of being silly, loving life, and going out in style!!!  No other way to live.....

None of us are insane.  Simply lovers of all things Doodle!  Rua wants you to organize her first BD party in July, please!
