Has anyone used paper taining or wee pads?

Hi, we are thinking of getting a miniature labradoodle, but we don't have a yard, only some terraces. I was wondering if anyone has used wee pads, paper training or other non- yard housetraining methods, and how they worked?

We bought scented housetraining pads as we don't crate Prada, she sleeps in our laundry. We put heaps down the first night, covering just about the entire area and then kept reducing the amount. Now we only need one and she always goes on it at night. If we put down anymore she just chews them up. They are good and no fuss, just bundle them up and put them in the bin in the morning.

When I would leave Lucy for more than an hour when she was a puppy, I tried pads on the floor in the laundry room. She shredded them and peed on the floor ;-)) The crate still works best for us!
