Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Hi!

I am looking for a doodle to adopt. I know there are needy dogs out there, and I want to give him or her a good home. Can anyone help or advise me?

Thanks,

Alex

There are 2 Doodle rescues that you can contact.

One the bottom of the main page, you will see doodles that are in their programs looking for their forever home. The first letter are the state that the doodle is being fostered in. You will have to put in an application for both rescues.

Good luck on your search.

Alex - check out the "doodles in need" page on doodlerescueinc too. DRC can't take in every doodle we find because we simply don't have the volunteers - and you will find those - as well as dogs with other rescue groups listed there.

Go to the bottom of the site & you can see petfinder.  If I had any idea how many rescue's there were, I would never went to a breeder.  Good for you!  Goodluck

Hi Alexandra-

You can post that here. No worries! What we forum members can't do is recommend BREEDERS.

Apply for a dog you are interested in early! And even if you aren't approved for THAT dog when they get one that matches you, they might even call you before the dog gets listed on PetFinder.

Welcome to DK. You will find a ton of good info on this website.

Good luck! I am sure you will find the doodle of your dreams!
Good luck! The right dog will find you!
On the Nor-Cal group message board today there was a posting for someone who was looking for a new home for their 10-mo-old doodle.  He is white and you can see the photos on their profile page.  Said to contact at maderuc@comcast.net.  Interested?  Oh yes, he is in Cupertino in the Bay Area (near San Jose).
