Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I was just reading through some of the wall posts and cracking up.  You girls are FUNNY! Bad thing about wall posts is that you can only reply with another wall post....  This thread is just for chatting. There are  quite a few members who don't want to participate in the challenge but we'd still love to hear from you and get to know you...

Sooooo, I'm going to start us off...Does anyone else here like to camp as much as I do? If so: Where? What method? How does your doddle do? And what are your best kept camping secrets?

Pismo Coast Village is our home away from home.  It is within easy walking distance of the pier.  For those of you who would like to try 'camping' the easy way, they have trailers you can rent or can give you information on renting them.  The KOA in Santa Cruz (Manresa State Beach) has cabins you can rent and so does Flying Flags in Buelton which is near Solvang (Danish Tourist Town).  There is an awesome Mission - La Purisima, that is between Pismo and Buelton. It is one of the best ones to visit.
My parents do a lot of camping and DH and I join them a lot of times, however, we always go to a local hotel for the night.  They have a camper in the front end of their 5th wheel horse trailer and they travel to a lot of Horse and Mule plowing events.  We always love to go watch and participate in the events, but just like going back to the comfy hotel for the night!  DH says my idea of camping is the Marriott as well!
Wow , the thought of camping with our dogs, seems like a far distance future, with them being just pups at the moment.  Can't wait till that happens this summer!!!     We usually have a yearly camping trip with my younger sister & her kids and brother and their friends from Church and kids (last time it was 17 adults and 14 children!)  Last time it was at Deception Pass, we live in Seattle.  No one had animals.  This year me and my younger sister have dogs!   This will be a fun time with memories for the children.  :)
We do the same Aimee, we camp with 4 other families, kids and dogs.  This year we will add our two doods to the mix making it...10 adults, 12 kids and 5 dogs. FUN!!!!!!
