Jellybean loves going to the beach. We have brought her twice, both times on a 30 ft lead because they can't be off leash here. At first she was afraid of the surf and would run away into the sand, but some kids were in the water on boogie boards and a light bulb went off! She was running and jumping in the water in no time. No swimming, but maybe that will come later.

We have a pool and I can't keep Tigger out of there!  Thank goodness we have a fence otherwise I would have a permanently wet dog.  Tigger especially loves to jump in after my 4 year old son and also loves to cruise around on the pool floats and lie in the sun.  He's a goof ball!

[Bodie, Whidbey & Jill]

Tigger looks so cute in the pool.  He and Bodie look a lot a like although we keep Bodie's hair pretty short. How much does Tigger weigh now? Bodie is going in to be neutered tomorrow so we'll check his weight then but I think he's about 25-28 pounds.

Tigger weighs 31 pounds and his hair is much shorter now.  I took that pic last summer before he got his first haircut.  Hope Bodie is feeling okay after his surgery!

Bodie did fine after his surgery. He weighs 25 pounds now so he'll probably stay less than 30. Maybe we'll see you at one of these events!

Oh I can't wait to take Riley to the beach. He does like the rain and the snow!

Cooper loves the water and swimming but hates baths.

Winston loves to swim, and even went into the river near the house in Bend last January. It was 32 degrees that day, but the water had to be really cold and he didn't seem to care. Crazy dog. Bella has not been swimming yet. Freya loves to swim and will go after flooties all day long.

We took Riley to the lake yesterday. He loved going into the water where he could still touch the bottom. With encouragement he went deep enough where he had to swim. He was biting his tongue the entire time he was swimming....must have been concentrating hard.

 

I think he enjoyed the whole experience.
