I was petting Lincoln today, and I I felt a lump under his skin :(  He is only two so I thought it was early for a bump under the skin.  My dog Scott had one in his cheek for his whole life that never develped into anything more.  It is not attached to anything underneath so I think that is at least a good thing.  Anyone else have a Doodle that had a bump or lump?  I will be bringing him to the vet soon for his shots and annual exam so I'll ask her then.

Yes, in that location I would question if it could be the chip too. Tara's is smaller than a pea and quite a bit higher up on her neck than the chip but until I had it checked I wondered if her chip could have migrated.
Well his is about the size of a nickel, and it's quite hard.
Urgh.  I guess I'll mention this to Porter's vet when he gets his rabies vaccine.  Thanks for the info.

It's probably nothing, but better safe than sorry :-(

Yes, at about 3 I found a lump on Gracie doodle.  It is on her side in the rib area.  Feels like a hard pearl that you can move around.  The vet aspirated it and check it and it is just a fatty cyst.  He measured it and when she goes in for her 4 year old well dog visit he will check it again.  She has that and a little fleshy mole on her chest.  Can't see them.  If she ever has to be put out for any procedure then he will remove them but they are nothing to worry about at this time and we are watching them.
We felt one on our older doodles side of her neck and took her right in and they said that it seemed like her microchip had shifted. We were so relieved. My dad's dog had one removed from her leg last week and it was not cancer. Good luck to you, I'm sure everything is fine.
Neely is also two and I also found a little bump under his skin while scratching his back. It is also not attached underneath. It feels like a pimple that isn't ready yet it doesn't have any head isn't red and has stayed there. I am not worried about it at all though. I will do the same when we go to the vet next. Let me know what your vet says in the mean time.
Penny gets them often these days - either fatty tumor or cyst.  That said, we ALWAYS have them checked.  You can never be too careful!

Update on the lump.  The vet measured it, and we are keeping an eye on it, and measure it weekly.  It hasn't grown nor are there anymore.  So I guess it isn't really an urgent thing at the moment.  She says if we get his teeth cleaned we can remove it at the same time...She didn't seem too worried...

That's the exact same thing we are doing with Gracie's lumps. As I said earlier, one is a fatty bump like a pearl that squishes around under her skin and the other is on the surface like a mole or wart. I just had it checked for the third time because I am paranoid. Next time Gracie is put out for a fox tail or teeth cleaning we are going to get them all removed!!
