What was your favorite song as a teenager?... You know, the one that drove your parents and siblings CRAZY!

My friend just made a GREAT CD for me with lots of my favorite current songs...then... right in the middle she threw in "I Think I Love You" by the Partridge family...It just cracked me up.  Even though I was only like 7 or 8 yrs old at the time. I totally remember the song. One of my friend's older sisters had it and we played it DAY AND NIGHT!

I think I'm going to upload it to my page....lol

Ah- but to answer the question of what song drove my Parents crazy...Well it actually drove my whole family crazy.

I was 12 when i thought it was the funniest song.

My Ding a Ling!    Anyone else know it?  LOL

Oh yes.  Now this song will be in my head all day today.
Ha Ha.    You're Welcome (?)
omg!  Yep, my brother and I sang it over and over and over.
Anything by Bon Jovi circa late 80s late 90s Livin on a Prayer which I could totally relate to as an 8th/9th grader LOL
Also went through an REM Phase which my mom called whiny rock but still love them to this day.
Chuck Berry....lol.
hahahahaha I forgot about that one - EVERYBODY sang it...LOL

Oh wow, was this a little walk back down memory lane.  Now just where did I store those 8 Tracks ..... talk about dating ones self!  lol

I do have to admit that I wasn't a huge music person.  Didn't spend every penny I made on music like most kids today, but I did have some favorites I guess.  I'm not sure I ever had any posters on the walls of my room of any of them, and really don't recall my Mom yelling at me to turn it down or anything.  Probably mostly listened in my car.  I do remember the Christmas I got my first stereo (ok, record player).  I couldn't have been but maybe 7 or 8.  My very first record was "Nancy Sinatra, These Boots are Made For Walkin".

As for my High School years that would have been some Eagles (hotel California, Desperado); Rod Stewart (The Way You Look Tonight), Peter Frampton (Baby I Love Your Way; Do You Feel Like We Do, and Show Me The Way) just to name a few.

I'm a total Country Girl now though ...... Brad Paisley, Trace Adkins, Josh Turner, Carrie Underwood etc.

Oh, I love The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra. Great song:)
MY first stereo I got for Christmas, I was 6 and my parents bought my first record album, Johnny Mathis - It's Heavenly. I can still see the album jacket red, with a big cloud and Johnny Mathis standing barefoot on it in a white shirt and pants. It was one of those players that looked like a suitcase and you took the speakers off the hook and lowered the turn table OMD, what awesome memories.

When I was in high school I was very into hardcore punk (I know, right?) and I would TORTURE my parents with it. Favorites were the Dead Kennedys - "California Uber Alles" and "I Faught the Law and I Won", Black Flag "TV Party", and anything on the Repo Man soundtrack.

I also loved (and still do) the Beatles and the Grateful Dead and was very given to singing "Yesterday" and "Brokedown Palace" in the shower.

Frannie:  I don't even recognize those artists (?) or songs.  Do I feel old?  Yes, I do.  Give me the Association, Simon & Garfunkel, 3 Dog Night, anything from the Woodstock Live 8 track (OMG at least I was too young to go there), Moody Blues.  I've got to stop I think I just grew half a dozen (more) gray hairs.
