Just wondering if I'm the only crazy one out there....

Right now, I'm listening to:

Bel Canto by Ann Patchett in my car.

Edge by Jeffery Deaver in my van.

Moonlight Mile by Dennis Lehane at home.

Sing Me Home by Jodi Picoult on the iPad.

and I'm reading I Still Dream About You by Fannie Flagg.

I'm usually reading (no quotations, actually reading, lol) two books at once, but one of them is usually a non-fiction book and more for education and research than pleasure. Currently, my fiction book is The Red Garden by Alice Hoffman and my non-fiction book is Feed Your Pet Right by Marion Nestle.
I currently read about 3 books at a time if I can find books that really interest me. The books just draw me in that I never seem to loose what happens in each book.  I just finished Night Road by Kristin Hannah.  It took me 3 days to read and I just loved the book. It also was a very emotional book. How is Sing Me Home by Jodi Picoult. I was thinking about buying that book.

I enjoyed Sing Me Home, but didn't feel that it was Picoult's best.  It seemed to me that this book tried to tackle too many issues at one time and therefore did address any one of them in the depth that the author is known for.

Am I glad I read it?  Yes.  Will I reread it?  No.

I don't read multiple books at the same time. But I regularly watch t.v., read my kindle and participate on DK at the same time. One activity just isn't enough. :-)
....you forgot to mention scratching Doodle ears, too!
You are right. :-)
