My DH came from the lower level (walk-out ranch) with a look of total disbelief on his face.  He said "You are never going to guess what PuffDog just did" (PuffDog is Rua's kitty sister)!

 

Apparently PuffDog has been watching Rua go to the patio slider and ring the Poochie Bell to go outside.  So, today PuffDog started ringing the bell to go outside (she is an indoor kitty but likes to graze on grass or sniff outside every now and then).  He did the only thing he could do, he let her out. 

 

She did it again, so I put Rua's pink harness on her so next time she rings, we'll let her go out and clip her to the lead.

 

Anybody else have a cat that has learned a behavior watching a dog?
