As the warner weather is approaching and I know I will have to bath Sonny more often, I was looking for some recommendations on a good shampoo and conditioner. I have seen Cowboy Magic and Ice on Ice(?) mentioned but was not sure if they were just for matts or for general conditioning. I want a conditioner that will help prevent matts and help him stay soft and tangle free. Do I need a separate condition and detangling spray?

Thanks for any recommendations.

Thanks everyone. I will have to look into some of these and see what I can find. I appreciate the help! :)  and so will Sonny if it makes combing time more pleasant.
I've tried many shampoos and have a collection of ones I like. I recently got a sample of "Bubbles and Beads" by Happy Tails (Amazon) which is a shampoo/conditioner and I love it. It's gentle and has a wonderful, not overpowering scent and leaves the coat like 'butt-ah'.
I've tried a lot of shampoos and conditioners and my all time favorite is Kim Laube's line of dog shampoos and conditioners for white fluffy coats, marketed under the names of Wild Animal and Kelco. I use Kelco's Plum White shampoo (aka, Wild Animal's All Out White), Kelco's Plum White Conditioner (aka, Wild Animal's Lilac Cream Rinse) and Kelco's Ultra Silk Conditioner (aka, Wild Animal's Silk 'n Silk). They leave Lucy so soft and fluffy, and the Ultra Silk Conditioner really helps to keep tangles at bay. They all dilute 50:1, making them a great value. I love these so much I buy them by the gallon!
