I started this group so that those of us who needed a little accountability could come here and receive the encouragement and the little nudge we need to get our the door (or in if that works) and take care of ourselves. I'm still here if anyone needs help or just someone to talk to.



Show up everyday and post something for each of the points numbers below and receive one point. We will have a weekly parade for the winner plus, some surprises along the way....and a give away at the end of the year.

Great to be home. I've finally started getting back on track.

MONDAY:

  1. 2 miles with the girls
  2. skipped the dishes to organize some photos
  3. Success is always a work in progress.
  4. HORRIBLE!  I did make turkey burgers for dinner but...OY! The Easter candy.

Yesterday I started to get back to my old walking route, and have done it for the last 2 days, it's a 6 mile walk. I have to make up for the days that I don't walk when I am working 12 hrs shifts. My aim is to get in at least 21 miles for the week so that it averages out to 3 miles a day, with the weather getting better it should be a lot easier to do. Then I have to do some serious work on the diet.

WOW! 6 miles?  That's awesome Donna. I'd like to work up to walking the girls 3-5 miles a day. They're still puppies right now but 3 is doable.  It's definitely me who turns the corner early to head back home. The pups are never ready...hahaha.  Everytime we get back to the house they plop down before we ever hit the gate and semi-refuse to go back in. They LIVE for their walks but it doesn't do as much good for me because they want to stop and smell 60 times along the way. :)

TUESDAY:

 

  1. No walk
  2. nothing for me
  3. Sometimes, God opens a door......and we close it and plop back down on the couch  :-D
  4. Bad choices all day....

ZERO points for me.

Ok, I have been absent but still been trying to keep to things.

 

Had a great Easter down in STL with my parents and then back to STL on Monday, Tuesday ended up going to the emergency room and not getting home until 3:45am (wed morning).  Everything is ok.

 

Yesterday I actually did a Tae-bo workout

And didn't do too badly with food choices

Going to try to walk on the treadmill today

 

 Okay I am back on track again  Hopefully  walked wilson yesterday, and now today I will Zumba ! !  !
