My litter was born....two days early!  We are soooo over the moon.  One minor problem if a problem as all....we had our hearts set on a male and there is only one male in this litter!  My breeder is aware and we'll just have to see what happens in the weeks ahead but I have no doubt we will fall in love with one of these little darlins!  Count down to July 16th!!!

Oh they are sooo cute. I love the colors! We are hoping for a boy too, but most of all hoping for a creamy colored one. Our litter will probably be a mix of blacks and creams. I think if we end up with a female we will just choose a name that doesn't sound overly girly. At first I thought our girl name would be Ellie (because that was the name if I had daughters) but now we might go with a name like Bailey which isn't as feminine yet still cute. 

Have you picked out names yet? When do you get to pick and what number are you?

Thanks everyone.  I can't wait for a week to go by to see an updated photo again!  I know how quickly puppies change over the next couple of weeks, but what the take from all of you on the little male's size....he looks to be the smallest of the litter, don't you agree?  (Again, I was hoping for a large mediuim).....guess I should just relax and see what unfolds because they're all adorable!

yes, "Jackson" for the little boy; Sidney for a little girl!  (in honor of the multi-generational Doodle...also didn't want too girly a name!)....not that they aren't adorable as well!

The airlines know how to nickle and dime us all!  Because she's such a small puppy, will you at least be able to have her under the seat in front of you?  She doesn't have to travel in cargo, does she?

oh good!  I'm so glad!  I just found out from my neighbor that if a dog is certified as a therapy dog, they get to fly with you, go in stores, restaurants, etc., because the law must permit it without evaslive questions to the owner.  Example:  you dog may be with  you to alert you of an up and coming seizure!  Hey....to have my doggy by my side, I think I am very interested in going this route.  Of course, to also give back and explore hospital visits, grade children's reading efforts, etc!
