Just curious if anyone here got to visit AB & see the litter before take home day? I actually live close enough that a trip out there is not that big a deal. I have posed this question to Shelly and am awaiting her response, but was interested in hearing others experiences. Thanks.
We went and met Tigger's parents (Katie and Micah) and saw all the pups from the litter before we decided 100% that we wanted and AB doodle. We dealt with Julie and she and her family were so sweet and welcoming. We must have hung out for an hour or so chatting with her family and hanging with the pups. Very fun!
I visited my puppy's litter at six weeks. I also visited AB many months before so I could decide if I liked the breeder. On that day I saw pups from two litters. They were very accomodating.
We went to visit Almond Blossom before making the final decision to adopt from them as well. Julie met us at Shelly's house and showed us the house and back yard and we got to meet Anja who we totally fell in love with. She was pregnant with Floyd and his litter mates at the time and could not have been sweeter! We were there for about 30-45 minutes chatting we are so glad we did. I highly recommend it!
My daughter and I visited the pups at six weeks, we played and visited for about an hour. Julie was happy to answer any questions we had. It was a fun visit.
Thanks guys. Heard back from Shelly earlier this week & she says I am welcome to visit. Next few weeks are crazy and then I leave for vacation the week the pups are due, so hopefully I can get out there a few weeks after that. She says that Anja is doing great and beginning to look "bigger" :).
