Help! I am totally freaking scared. two puppies from Hatties litter have been diagnosed with Parvo Virus. Hattie seems fine-she had a little runny stools yesterday but I think it was the treats I gave her. none today and they are a soft but formed into stools. she isn't eating much but is very playful. Called my vet and he said test is only true after they have diareha or are throwing up. I am so scared!

Really praying for the two of you tonight! Hoping that you and Hattie are resting now after such a stressful day!
Sandy, I just got home and read through the discussion. Like everyone, I am so sorry that you are going through this. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I know you are concerned about her stools, but if you were not worried about the parvo, don't you think you'd be going with the idea that many puppies have that when they have just been brought home? You will know for sure in the next day or two like your vet said. I see many reasons for optimism. There are other puppies in the litter who also have not shown to have parvo. But I am sure that until you know you are in the clear it is hard to rely on that. We will just stand by you and take things one step at a time.
Sending good thoughts from North Carolina.  I am so hoping that Hattie has escaped this.  Try not to worry, it is a waisted emotion.  Hug your pup and enjoy her.  You have a plan if she shows signs of illness.  It will be OK.
oh how scary! Dont let the loose stools worry you - thats very common in pups who have just moved away from their doggy family to their forever homes. At least you were told about the other pups. It sounds like you have a very good caring breeder who will do right by her puppies re vet bills.
Sandy, I'm so sad to hear about Hattie's littermates! Hoping she is healthy with no viral infection at all.
Love and prayers that Hattie will be fine, and stay uninfected.
Sorry that you've had to have her homecoming dampened by this news.
Hattie will be fine because you are being vigilant about it!! Coco had coccidia and a hook worm when I got her!! She was the only one in the litter. The vet knows what to do! Tell Hattie that Coco Chanel is sending her kisses and hopes she is fine!!

Im very sorry to read about Hatties Littermates.   I am keeping Hattie & you in my thoughts that she will be ok!

I know how scared you must be.

Hope she is doing good this am.

Sandy, how is Hattie doing this morning?
Just reading this. Hope all is well. Sending positive thoughts.
Sandy that's great news. Still sending positive thoughts and take care of yourself too.
Good to hear!  I hope that continues & that she (or any of the other puppies) Wont have Parvo.
