Tomorrow is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! Don't get me wrong I Love my DD. But how many times in a day should someone have to hear MOM? Mom I'm bored! Mom I 'm hungry! Mom Can I...! Mom where's my...! Mom can you...! Mom Mom Mom MOm MOm MOm MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM.......!!!!!!
Lexi has gotten off to a great start this morning with 17 MOM's within 45 minutes before the bus got here. No one to play with, nothing to do, so and so get' to go...., on and on and on. Now tell me how special she is, LOL.
I know I'm not the only one so fess up. Tell me how your child or doodle drives you crazy so I can feel better:))

Sharon, thanks for the reminder to enjoy her.
Jane, I was ready to be Nana when my great niece (now DD) came to visit for a week and the rest is history. Just thinking about her condition at that time, the Mom, Mom, Mom thing doesn't seem so bad.
I like the idea of making a game out of it this will help her develop self control skills. Which is something we have been working on. Thanks so much.
Jane, I have a feeling you would do the same thing. Thank you for the compliment.
Doodle Boca: does figure eights around me and my toddler or around her or pokes us if we're trying to watch tv or doing anything on the couch. And by figure eights I don't mean fast speedy ones...just winds around us so that my toddler inevitably falls down. If there are 2 inches between me and a wall and LOTS of space in front of me, Boca will try to squeeze in past me within those 2 inches. But it's mostly the poking and prodding with her snout that drives me bananas.
Doodle Rosco: He's just gotten more stubborn and selectively 'deaf', more counter surfing for less and less obvious foodstuffs, and stares me down for the hour before lunch or dinner.
Child: She amuses me and makes me smile SOOO much I almost can't think of anything annoying. Perhaps just 'whining' when asking for things and asking for "help help help" for all sorts of things she IS capable of doing on her own. I'm still loving hearing "Mooooommmy" all day long, but she will get creative and call me by my first name when I don't respond to Mommy ... =)
Natalie is at that fun stage. My granddaughter does the same thing and uses Mom's first name if she doesn't respond.
Squeezing between the wall and me is very annoying I have to admit. Everyone at our house is affected by selective "deafness", lol.
Good suggestions! I remember those days too with my second daughter, especially. She wanted me to talk to her all day--her sister and little brother were more independent.
Well, now she is going to be 27 and she is trying to live her own life--too hard! I didn't hear from her other than an occasional short email for four months before she came home for Christmas and then another 4 months before she came home for mother's day--torture! I called her, but she has caller ID, so straight to the voicemail I would go.
Really, enjoy it--I never thought I would see the day when my daughter would stop talking to me, but it came, big time. And I miss her! Hence, the three doodles I now surround myself with! LOL!
